Ilusão simbiótica e construção da identidade feminina nos transtornos alimentares: perspectiva da psicossomática psicanalítica / Symbiotic illusion and female identity construction in eating disorders: a psychoanalytical psychosomatics' perspective

Abstract: This study aims primarily to reflect on the role of symbiotic illusion in the construction of female identity in women with eating disorders (ED), using premises from psychoanalytic psychosomatics. Considering ED as psychopathologies related to the affective economy, Oedipal relations play crucial role in the process of identity constitution. Mother-daughter relationships in ED are shaped in the molds of symbiotic illusion, with weak father figures. We presented a case study to briefly illustrate the theoretical framework. The omissive posture of a father to interdict the symbiotic relation leads daughters to find themselves unable to libidinally invest in other objects.

Resumo: Este estudo teve como objetivo refletir sobre o papel da ilusão simbiótica na construção da identidade feminina em mulheres com transtornos alimentares (TAs), utilizando as premissas da psicossomática psicanalítica. Considerando-se os TAs como psicopatologias relacionadas à economia afetiva, as relações edípicas desempenham papel crucial no processo de construção de identidade. As relações mãe-filha nos TAs são moldadas pela ilusão simbiótica, com figuras paternas enfraquecidas. Nós apresentamos brevemente um estudo de caso para ilustrar os conceitos do referencial teórico. A postura omissa do pai para interditar a relação simbiótica com a mãe leva a filha à impossibilidade de investir libidinalmente em outros objetos.

Gerando vida em contexto de morte: o exercício materno em situações demilitância durante a Ditadura Militar no Brasil (1964-1985) / Creating life in the context of death: the maternal exercise in militancy situations during the Military Dictatorship in Brazil (1964-1985)

Este trabalho objetiva compreender a experiência de maternidade de mulheres que militaram durante o período da Ditadura Militar no Brasil (1964-1985). Foram realizadas quatroentrevistas com mulheres que estiveram grávidas e conceberam seus filhos no período de militância, durante a clandestinidade, prisão, exílio e pós-soltura. Para a organização e interpretação dos dados, realizamos análise de conteúdo temática. Os resultados e a discussão foram organizados em torno de duas grandes categorias: Maternidade e Militância: compreendendo as tensões entre o individual e o coletivo e Nascendo nos porões da ditadura: gerando vida em um contexto de morte. Apesar de vivenciarem um contexto no qual a morte era um risco proeminente, a maternidade contribuiu para a preservação de suas vidas, não impedindo, porém, que estas mulheres, mesmo grávidas, sofressem torturas físicas, sexuais e psicológicas, além de ameaças em relação à continuidade da gravidez e à permanência de seus filhos junto a si...

This work's aim is to comprehend the maternity experience of women who militated during the period of the military dictatorship in Brazil (1964-1985). Four interviews were carried outwith women who were pregnant and gave birth to their children in the period of militancy, during clandestinely, prison, exile and amnesty. For the organization and interpretation of data, we accomplished thematic content analysis. The results and the discussion were organized around two broad categories: Maternity and militancy: understanding the tensions between the individual and the collective; and Being born in the dictatorship basements: creating life in the context of death.Though experiencing a context in which death was a prominent risk, maternity contributed to the preservation of their lives, however, it did not prevent these women, despite being pregnant, fromsuffering physical, sexual and psychological tortures as well as threats on the continuity of their pregnancy and on the permanence of their children with them...

A literatura de autoajuda e a produção de subjetividade feminina / Self-help literature and the production of female subjectivity

Neste artigo visamos uma análise crítica das condições de subjetivação oferecidas a partir da literatura de autoajuda da virada do século. Propomos seis categorias a fim de evidenciar o ideal identitário propagado nos textos alocando-os segundo o que é sua suposta essência, papéis sociais e valores. Apoiados nos estudos de Lasch e Giddens, percebemos que esta identidade feminina essencial, reitera o lugar de subjugação da mulher na sociedade ocidental. Seguindo pistas de Guattari e Rolnik, propomos uma concepção de subjetividade aquém da identidade e da essência individual ou de gênero, como atualização de forças de afetação e desejo.

This article makes a critical analysis of the conditions of the subjective production offered by self-help literature in the end of XX century. We propose six categories in order to demonstrate the identitary ideals propagated in the texts, as they antagonize sexes, we allocate them according to what is supposed to be its essence, social papers and values. Supported in Lasch's and Giddens' studies, we realize that this essential feminine identity, reiterates women's subjugation in western society. Following Guattari and Rolnik's clues, we propose a conception of subjectivity that precides identity and individual essence or gender formations, as an upgrading of affection and desire forces.
